Kerr Black Holes: Thermal Properties

Scientific paper

Thermal properties of a uniformly accelerating rectilinear stationary Kerr black hole are studied. It is discovered that both the Unruh temperature of the Rindler horizon and the Hawking temperature of the event horizon are no longer constant. They are functions depending on θ. Furthermore, the temperature of every point on the black hole surface can be obtained. When the event horizon collides with the Rindler horizon, the temperature at the contact point will reduce to zero. But, at the opposite pole of the event horizon of black hole, the Hawking temperature will increase.
