B and V photographic observations have been made of 158 suspected members of the galactic cluster Stock 1 (long = 60.27, lat = +01.76). This study was undertaken to verify transformations from Stock's system to UBV standards and to construct a color-magnitude diagram in this standard system. The observed photographic B and V magnitudes were combined with Stock's transformed ones to determine the V and (B-V) magnitudes for all 158 suspected members. Using the spectral types listed by Stock (1956) for 36 members, an interstellar reddening of E(B-V) = 0.19 and a distance modulus of (Vo - Mv) = 7.75 were calculated. From available data, 13 of the proposed cluster stars were shown not to be physical members.
