The measured isotropy and inhomogeneity of gamma-ray bursts can be
explained by cometary collisions in the Oort cloud at ~104 AU
from the Sun, provided that ~10-3 of the mass in small comets
is in the form of antimatter. Gamma-ray bursts may therefore signal the
existence of bulk antimatter in the local Solar neighborhood.
