Relativistic disks enhance the intensity of radiation in directions near
their plane. The gravitational pulses which Weber claims to have
detected may arise in such a disk situated in the Galactic nucleus, with
its plane aligned with that of the Galaxy. A typical enhancement factor
is 30.
