We present the QCD analysis of the behavior of quark and gluon distributions
in the limit of a large number of colors N_c. We show that the results agree
qualitatively with the phenomenological data. In particular we draw attention
to the fact that the polarized gluon distribution is suppressed at large N_c
compared to the unpolarized one.
