This paper reviews studies of He-3 enrichments in solar particle events, the solar neutrino problem, and aspects of stellar nuclear reactions associated with the problem of nucleosynthesis. Satellite observations of He-3 enrichments are discussed, the consistency of different sets of observations is evaluated, and the possibility is considered that the enhanced He-3 fluxes originate in nuclear reactions in the solar atmosphere. A series of experiments for the improved detection of solar neutrinos is proposed. Possibilities for detecting gamma rays produced in stellar nuclear reactions are examined, particularly in those reactions involving hydrogen or helium burning.
