Scientific paper

Results are reported for measurements of time lags and Doppler
corrections obtained during radar observations of Venus at a wavelength
of 39 cm in 1977. It is found that the real positions of Venus in 1977
were 20 to 115 km smaller than those calculated at the time of the
observations.
