From the INTEGRAL and Swift surveys a significant fraction (~5% and 6% respectively) of hard X-ray sources were found to be asynchronous magnetic Cataclysmic Variables (CVs), most of the Intermediate Polar (IP) type. We aim to continue our identification programme of newly discovered CVs that are candidates to be magnetic. Only with the detection of periodic X-ray pulses and the study of their broad-band X-ray spectra it will be possible to firmly identify their true IP nature. This will provide insights in the physics of this emerging class of accreting compact objects, recently proposed to be an important population of galactic X-ray sources.
