Nova Ophiuchi 2008 No. 2 was discovered by: K. Nishiyama, Kurume, Fukuoka-ken, Japan, and F. Kabashima, Miyaki-cho, Saga-ken, Japan, on May 31.608 and 31.609 UT at unfiltered CCD magnitude 11.3. Discovery information is from IAU Circular 8950, Daniel W.E. Green, editor. Observations should be submitted to the AAVSO International Database as V2671 Oph.
