In the present paper, the energy dissipation mechanism and the mechanism and direction of spectral energy transfer are studied with a view toward identifying the general pattern of solar wind turbulence. It is shown that this turbulence may be associated with Alfven and magnetoacoustic waves. Power-law turbulence spectra with exponents of 3/2 and 4/3 are obtained on the basis of dimensionality relations, assuming that the turbulence is weak and isotropic.
