A determination of the lunar tides in the sporadic E-layer is made, using data for nine years from Ibadan and seven years from Huancayo. The large amount of data makes possible separate analyses for seasonal effects and for the "luni-solar" tides. A close relationship is found between the tidal results and the electrojet effects on the Earth's magnetic field.
