The possibility of detecting current sheets by using their screening and emission properties in the radio band is discussed. It is shown that the presence of a current sheet in the solar atmosphere causes a depression of radio brightness at some wavelengths and an enhancement of radio brightness at shorter wavelengths. It is suggested that spectral observations with sufficient angular resolution may yield such characteristics of the solar atmosphere as temperature, electron density, thickness, and height.
