Photometric parallaxes for nearby stars are derived by using photometric measures made in the uvbyβ and Geneva systems of stars earlier than the Sun. Fifty-six stars in Cliese's Catalogue of Nearby Stars have a photometric parallax of less than 0".045. Twenty stars were found with photometric parallaxes greater than 0".045 which should be included in the 22 pc sphere surrounding the Sun.
