We have conducted a multiwavelength campaign including RXTE, VLA, and ground-based IR observations of the low mass X-ray binary Z source GX 17+2. Our IR observations reveal periodic brightening during which GX 17+2 increases by 3 magnitudes in the K band on a period of roughly 3 days. The repetitive nature of these variations suggests that the object might possess a synchrotron emitting jet.
