We study the radio flaring behavior of the microquasar Cygnus X-3 with a shock-in-jet model and a method both developed for quasar jets. The model is a generalization of the shock model of Marscher & Gear (1985) with the modifications suggested by Björnsson & Aslaksen (2000). The method consists of adjusting a series of synchrotron model outbursts to the observed multifrequency lightcurves. We show that the flaring period of February-March 1994 is well described by this model, which allows us to derive the properties of an average outburst, the peculiarity of individual outbursts, as well as physical quantities in the jet of Cygnus X-3.
