A personal insight into the history of the Saturn V launch vehicle and
subsequent space activities is presented. The work environment and what
has changed to make it more difficult are explored. It is concluded that
the Apollo Program could not be done in the same time frame today. A few
thoughts of what could be done to reestablish that capability are given.
