It has long been known that the slow solar wind is associated with the streamer belt which wraps around the Sun in a nearly continuous band that is most prominent at solar minimum. However, there is still no convincing evidence for exactly where the slow wind is formed in the solar atmosphere. In this talk we describe Campaign #2 of the Whole Heliosphere Interval (WHI) which is designed to provide a comprehensive set of observations to track the slow speed wind from its coronal origins into heliosphere. The planned observations and initial results from both the Great Heliospheric Observatory and ground-based observatories (radio and solar) will be summarized.
