Olivine-pyroxene pairs from the equilibrated chondrites (types 5 and 6)
record the following physical conditions: T = 880° ±
150° C and P = 5 ± 5 kilobars. The oxygen fugacity at
880°C is 10 -17.5 ±1.2 . These oxygen fugacities plot on the
graphite surface at 1 atmosphere total pressure.
