A PC 1 geomagnetic pulsation which appears with a group of dot-like
shapes in frequency-time displays in the morning sector of the sub-cleft
latitudes, called sub-cleft morning dots (SMD) was observed. The
correspondence of high latitude geomagnetic disturbances detected on the
ground to SMD is 50%.
