The basic equations governing the steady compressible fluid in magnetofluid flows are reformulated, yielding a number of important results. The reformulation consists in permitting the dust particle distribution function to be variable, and describing the velocity of dust particles as being everywhere parallel to the fluid. It is assumed that the congruence of stream lines and magnetic field lines represents the orthogonal coordinate curves on the Maxwellian surface, and the condition is shown for which isobars coincide with the stream lines. Some of the consequences of the new equations are discussed.
