A weak field approximation in the theory of pure supergravity is developed. Small perturbations of an arbitrary background gravitational field (spin = 2) and a weak fermion field (spin = 3/2) are combined in a gravitational supermultiplet. It is found that the approximate theory is either locally or globally supersymmetric depending on the assumption concerning the magnitude of the weak fermion field compared with the gravitational perturbations. The properties of linear and nonlinear supergravitational equations are investigated for spin = 3/2 particles with respect to conformal scale transformations.
