The Survey of Nearby Nuclei with STIS (SUNNS) employed long-slit optical spectra from the Hubble Space Telescope to study the nebular gas and stars within the central 10 parsecs of nearby galaxies. The data have been used to measure the masses of supermassive black holes, detect signatures of central accretion disks, and quantify the ionization properties of gas on these small scales. This presentation will summarize the SUNNS analysis of stellar populations, with implications for the star formation history within galaxy nuclei and possible connections to accretion behavior.
