We present results of the three-dimensional numerical study of magnetic reconnection for asymmetric configurations and interpret the results in relation to the dayside reconnection. We also consider the effect of the By component, which prevails in the interplanetary magnetic field (IMF). It is seen that a magnetic bulge forms in the outflow region almost on the magnetosheath side and moves away from the reconnection region to the y-direction as well as to the z-direction. The outflows are sheared in the y-direction. Field-aligned currents are generated in a complex manner. We discuss about the shock generation and the variation of energy coupling rate with respect to the rotation angle of the IMF. We also present the acceleration of single particles by tracing test particles in the fields obtained from the above simulations.
