The equation for the fourth moment of the wave field in a randomly inhomogeneous medium for an extended noncoherent source is investigated analytically. Expressions are obtained which describe the spatial and temporal correlation functions of the intensity fluctuations of an extended source in the case of an arbitrary distribution of the stochastically refracting medium between the source and the observer.
