I discuss the problem of the dynamical stability of the equilibrium solutions for the bosonic stellar configurations in the framework of general relativity. In particular I show that the eigenvalues of the pulsation equation, which governs the time evolution of the infinitesimal radial oscillations, are real for Bose star configurations corresponding to excited states. This fact, together with the theorem that for a configuration with critical central density ϱcrit the pulsation equation has a zero mode and that for small central densities one can show that the lowest eigen-value is positive, leads to the conclusion that the excited Bose star configurations are classically stable for central densities up to ϱcrit.
