Generation of harmonic Langmuir mode(s) has been known since the 1960s in beam-plasma laboratory experiments, and space observations have shown that such a phenomenon may occur in interplanetary space. Despite early theoretical attempt for the explanation, its true characteristics is becoming clear only quite recently through detailed computer simulations. In this paper, a discussion which aims to show that the harmonic Langmuir mode is an eigemode of a turbulent plasma is presented, and generalized weak turbulence equation which includes the harmonic Langmuir mode is numerically solved. The analysis shows that the harmonic mode, which is a solution to a nonlinear dispersion equation, hence a ``nonlinear'' eigenmode, grows primarily due to an induced emission process, which is a ``linear'' wave-particle interaction process.
