Twelve single-night photoelectric light curve observations of 22 Kalliope obtained from Oct. 5 to Dec. 14, 1976, reveal a synodic rotation period of 4 hr 8 min 52.1 plus or minus 0.4 sec. The magnitude-phase relation shows an opposition effect (alpha reached 0.5 deg). Dimensions of the asteroid are calculated at 215 x 160 x 130 cu km, based on the adopted geometrical albedo pv equals 0.123, and assuming a triaxial ellipsoid. Polar coordinates were determined from the V magnitude of the maximum light: lambda pole equals 215 plus or minus 10 deg, and beta pole equals 45 plus or minus 15 deg.
