We report progress in our efforts to use the publicly available domain
decomposition and adaptive mesh refinement framework ``PARAMESH'' to
couple our 3D anelastic MHD (ANMHD) model of active region magnetic flux
in the solar convection zone with a simple, fully compressible ZEUS3D
MHD model of the photosphere, transition region, and low corona.
