The combination of the two-body problem with that of the motion of a charged particle in a magnetic-dipole field (Stoermer's problem) is treated in this article. Thus, in a long series of articles, a first step is taken to study the behavior of a charged particle in a magnetic-binary system. This first step includes a description of a simple model of such a system, the derivation of the equations of motion of the particle in the system, and a discussion on this foundation of the problem.
