The dynamical stability of a system of supermassive gas-stars is analyzed. The oscillation of a gas-star system around its gravitational equilibrium configuration in the fundamental mode is shown to be identical with that of two harmonic oscillators interacting with each other. The minimum amount of stars required to stabilize such a system is determined in a post-Newtonian approximation.
