A status report of the French experiment to search for dark objects in
the galactic halo via gravitational micro-lensing of stars in the Large
Magellanic Cloud is presented. The search uses combination of Schmidt
photographic plates and CCD images and is sensitive to lensing by
objects in the range of 10-7 to 10-1 solar masses.
