We present the first official results from T2K's 0̂ detector (P0D), part of the off-axis near detector suite, ND280. The analysis measured the production rate of high energy νe, intrinsic to the T2K beam. This rate was found to agree with the rate predicted for T2K's 2011 νe appearance measurement (arXiv:1106.2822), within statistical and systematic errors, and will be used to constrain the intrinsic νe background for T2K's next νe oscillation result.
