Sufficient conditions are derived for the stability within a given space-time region and time interval of a zeroeth-order adiabatic vacuum (where no particles of the adiabatic type described by Parker, 1966 and 1969, are created) in semiclassical quantum-gravity theory. It is shown that the conformal normal form used by most authors does not entail a loss of generality. An unsuccessful attempt to obtain solutions or normal-form conditions for the first-order case is discussed.
