The spatial distribution of the gamma ray bursts, selected according to their spectral hardness, appear spherical with divergence from an isotropic behavior depending on the spectral parameter KT. This can be explained by an intrinsic luminosity function and a disk or halo galactic distribution. If we assume a galactic disk distribution we derive an average peak burst luminosity of 1039 erg/sec.
