In November 1996 the Konus-Wind instrument on board the GGS-Wind spacecraft and the Konus-A instrument on board Kosmos-2326 observed 19 short events with energy spectra softer than typical gamma-ray bursts. Some of these were located at the position of the SGR 1806-20 using the Konus-Wind to Konus-A time delay and, independently, from the angular responses of the array of four DN detectors of Konus-A. Several similar events were detected later in June and September 1997. Time histories and energy spectra of the strongest events are presented. Some similarities in the time histories and spectral behavior of the observed events are noted.
