Radio occultation data obtained in various regions of the day and night sides of Venus are used to analyze the height dependence of temperature in the Venus atmosphere. A method for determining the zonal transport velocity of atmospheric masses from temperature data is presented. Attention is given to the height dependence of the zonal wind velocity for various near-equatorial regions and for midlatitude regions on the day and night sides of the planet. The presence of a jet stream at heights of 60-70 km is suggested.
