We present the results of our multi-dimesional models of core collapse supernovae. These models have be conducted using the ZEUS-2D radiation hydrodynamics code developed by Stone, Norman, and Mihalas. We have utilized this code to study the effects of the dense matter equation of state on convection in the post-bounce epoch of the supernova. The models include a realistic parameterized equation of state and multi-dimensional neutrino transport. We will discuss parameter studies in which the nuclear symmetry energy coefficient has been varied in the numerical models. In addition, we will discuss the influence of the radiation transport algorithm on the results of numerical simulations.
