We observed the ultra-bright transient PTF09cnd (Quimby et al. 2009; arXiv 0910.0059) with the Very Large Array (VLA) in 8.46, 4.86 and 1.41 GHz bands at UTC 2009 Oct 09.71, Oct 09.75 and Oct 09.79, respectively. The source is not detected in any of the above frequency bands. At the source position RA, Dec (J2000): 16 12 08.96, +51 29 16.0, the peak flux densities are: -7+/-30 uJy (8.46 GHz), 40+/-32 uJy (4.86 GHz) and 65+/-193 uJy (1.41 GHz).
