An interpolation formula is derived for whistler-type waves which
describes the dispersion curve behavior over a wide frequency range and
over the full range of propagation angles (0-pi/2). The formula is then
used to estimate the trajectory parameters of nonducted whistlers in the
meridional plane of the magnetosphere.
