High resolution IUE spectra were used to investigate the abundance of
interstellar Zn along sight lines of up to 3 kpc in length. The results
show that the relative gas-phase abundance of Zn is generally constant
throughout the interstellar medium. A slight depletion relative to the
solar abundance is indicated.
