Two high dispersion spectra from the IUE LWR instrument, and one from the SWP instrument, were analyzed. The Mg II line widths are very similar to the Ca II and Balmer lines (approximately 250 and 240 km/sec.) The UV higher excitation lines, C IV, Si IV, Si III and C III show widths very similar to those of the optical He lines, and are narrower than the strong Mg II, Ca II and Balmer lines. This is consistent with a model wind driven by Alfven waves in which, after a maximum near 250 km/sec, the wind velocity decreases away from the star while the gas temperature rises.
