We discuss an extended version of the Belinsky-Zakharov method, applied
on the self-dualSU(n) gauge fields, which is based on a scattering
matrixX with an arbitrary number of poles of arbitrary order. Conditions
for the symmetry of theg ab are derived and particular
examples onSU(3) andSU(5) are calculated.
