Exact solutions in the scale-covariant theory of gravitation are presently obtained from the corresponding general relativistic solutions by means of a simple method. While in general relativity all orthogonal, spatially homogeneous cosmologies with zero cosmological constant originate at a big-bang singularity, such a singularity can be avoided by the scale-covariant theory. It is readily shown that, in the scale-covariant theory, a shear-free universe can be constructed which has rotation as well as expansion.
