NASA would refurbish, test, and, provide ESA with the Pioneer H spacecraft with a new radioisotope thermoelectric generator, and ESA would convert this spacecraft into an orbiter to map the Jovian atmosphere. The study specifications and mission philosophies are described including the definition of a retro propulsion unit based on the 400 N Symphonie system, and scientific objectives on probe and atmosphere measurement, magnetosphere research, and Jovian satellite encounters as Amalthea, Ganymede, and Callisto.
