We propose the observation of the Sunyaev-Zel'dovich effect (SZE) in the high redshift (z=0.834) cluster of galaxies CL 0152-1357 at 18 GHz. The cluster showed a complex structure, indicative of an early stage of formation. We will examine the distribution of the intra-cluster gas and compare it with XMM-Chandra observations to constrain the gas mass of the cluster and the baryon fraction, to confirm (and improve) the results obtained in the observations we carried out in 2005 with the ATCA: after the combination with data from BIMA we detected an SZ signal at the 5.6 S/N level which was significantly displaced from the X-ray peak in the direction of one of the sub-clumps. A more detailed observation may help to investigate the physical reasons of such an unexpected displacement (merging, temperature distribution...). We request 48 hours observation time with the CABB system (24 at higher priority).
