Luigi Gussalli was an Italian inventor who suggested as early as 1923
the possibilities of sending humans to the moon using a multi-stage
rocket. This paper will recognize the pioneering efforts of Ing.
Gussalli by recounting his activities and interests in rocket
development and spaceflight concepts.
