The chondrites Cold Bokkeveld and Farmington seem to have reached the
earth less than 200,000 years after they left their parent body. Either
these meteorites came from the moon, or, more probably, the collision
life times of interplanetary objects are occasionally much shorter than
has been assumed heretofore.
