The possibility of a considerable extension of the RATAN-600 radio-telescope facilities, with the help of linear-feed array, is discussed. This would allow an increase in the fluctuation sensitivity, a decrease in the duration of deep surveys. It would permit realization of the mode for tracking sources and would give new possibilities for antenna adjustments.
