Scientific paper

An approach to the design of optical telescope systems is proposed
whereby the main mirror distortions are compensated by using the phase
conjugation effect. Compensation conditions in the paraxial region and
beyond it are analyzed theoretically. Results of numerical and
experimental modeling studies are presented.
