The effects of heat conduction, though promising in application to H-rich PNe, are uncertain in the case of H-poor PNe. Here, we propose observations of two H-poor, [WC]-type, PNe, NGC 6369 and NGC 1501. These two PNe, which harbor central stars with high effective temperatures, will provide heretofore missing constraints on evolutionary models of PNe and thereby motivate the development of H-poor heat conduction studies. The large (20-30" radii), well defined shells of these nebulae, combined with their moderate extinction and relative proximity, make them optimal candidates for X-ray detection and study in moderate (40 and 25 ks) exposure times with XMM-Newton.
